He looks like he just got out of the marines or army and it’s been a month but he is keeping the buzz cut and picked up work as a mechanic in a motorcycle shop.

He is the biggest sweetheart there and the elderly people who ride their bikes there to just talk to him when he is on his break, always bring him food to take home and thank him for his service even though he is very modest.

He usually ducks his head, blushing and says a polite thank you.

He is a complete gentleman despite his rugged appearance and mostly spends his downtime driving around and enjoying the scenery or going to a hole in the wall diner for a meal.

He is usually seen around town helping out and lending a hand when he can,

I’ve received a few messages from people who know I attended the screening for Destroyer last night at TIFF, asking if Sebby stayed for the screening.

Yes, after Karyn Kusama introduced the cast, Seb came out into the theatre and sat a few rows in front of me. I basically spent the half the time watching Sebby watch himself on the big screen. 😂

It was hard not to…his reactions were priceless. Without giving away any spoilers, there was a lot of head tilts and smiles, rubbing of the chin in deep thought, pursed lips with a head shake and at certain points, a little laugh or a scrunch down into his seat. It was a beautiful distraction.

Luckily I’m heading to two more screenings this week so I can rewatch the film.😂

I’ve attached some of my pics from last night. I swear he was doing that with the microphone on purpose 😉

Damn that handsome fucker ❤

So it was in reference to his looks. I was just hoping for some acting kudos. I want him to have all the praise for his work.

ok, so i found this review on Weibo and here’s a (badly done) translation on Sebastian’s character in the movie. not sure if it’s about his acting, but definitely something to look forward to imo. also, i did not translate the last sentence as it could be a spoiler for some. please let me know if you find any mistakes.

Due to the negative style of the movie, almost none of the characters are likeable except Sebastian Stan’s character, Chris. From his first appearance, the director seems to put a lot of focus on his eyes. Even though his character is an undercover and requires him to dress up as a gangster, yet each time when those clear eyes appear, the audience would immediately feel the warmth they exude; the hues of the frame would change. Simply put, while Kidman is cold and dark throughout the entire movie, Sebastian Stan is the only shining light. He lights up the screen whenever he appears.

The director did not let him come out as a gangster at the beginning, so we can still see shots of his good looks. He’s probably the only character who is not entirely “disfigured”. The emotional storyline of these two characters is weaved between brutal gunfire; a counterbalance to the harsh mood of the movie.

Thank you for sharing this @yensasha (it won’t let me tag)
